The Dutschke family has been providing top quality heating and air conditioning services to the Louisville area for over 65 years. Estle Dutschke founded Southend Refrigeration back in 1946. He operated Southend Refrigeration as a family business until 1984 when he passed away due to natural causes. Estle’s grandson, Darrel, took over the company and continued the family tradition of trustworthy HVAC services in Louisville.
In 1987, Darrel changed the company name to D&M Service Company, Inc. Darrel and his senior technicians have an abundance of HVAC experience and education. Among them, they have Master Journeyman (HVAC & Electrical), contracting license, Electrical Engineering degree, over 55 years of experience, and several other qualifications.
D&M believes that educated workers make safe workers. That’s why all D&M Service Company apprentices must be EPA certified before they can work for D&M. All sales and service personnel have the added requirement of being a Journeyman (HVAC or Mechanical). All workers are covered by workman’s compensation insurance.
